Business After Hours

A Business After Hours (BAH) provides the host with a forum to showcase their goods or services and increase their visibility within the Chamber community. Members gather to socialize and exchange news and ideas in a relaxed setting that is conducive for building strong relationships and potential referrals.

The BAH is held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Generally on the 4th Wednesday of the month.

Women in Business Council

It is WIBC’s vision to inspire women and celebrate their personal and business successes. Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to develop friendships and business allies. WIBC is dedicated to helping women achieve, succeed and prosper through networking and sharing of our individual knowledge, skills and resources.Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at lunchtime.

Business Before Hours

Chamber Members have the opportunity to network with others and to learn and share ideas to build their businesses. Business Before Hours (BBH) is an educational and networking forum that hosts breakfast meetings once a month on the 1st Tuesday from 7:15 to 8:30am at Wauconda Cafe. The format is a casual roundtable discussion sharing ideas and experiences on a specific topic that will be beneficial to most businesses. Members who are experts in the field of discussion are invited to speak and encouraged to attend to provide pertinent information.

Industrial Plant Tours

Each plant tour introduces attendees to new best business practices, a better understanding industries that are huge but hidden, as well as learning interesting work occurring right here in Wauconda.

Ribbon Cuttings

There is nothing more important than opening day of a new venture or location. The Chamber is here to make sure your big day includes a ceremonial Ribbon Cutting. An invitation is sent to all Chamber

Members and many Chamber Ambassadors, Directors, and Village Officials will attend. We will coordinate the event, provide the ceremonial scissors & ribbon and capture a publicity photo for your future use.

Ribbon Cuttings are part of an ongoing effort to encourage residents to patronize Wauconda area businesses.
